Graham Jardine Quaich
In 2008, Tain Thistle and Balintore agreed to continue the tradition of contending the Graham Jardine Memorial Quaich during the Tain meeting between the North Caledonian league clubs. The Quaich, a memorial to former Tain St Duthus and Balintore player Graham Jardine, had not been contested since 2005.
Thistle have been unsuccessful in their 2008 and 2009 attempts to win the Quaich, with Balintore claiming the trophy on both occasions. Graham's father Jim Jardine has kindly presented the Quaich to the winning captains each year since it's revival. Past Winners: |
