Balintore secured their first Ross-shire Welfare league title since 2006, as they cast Social Club aside in an 8-0 win at Invergordon. The win marks completion of a near perfect season for the seasiders, as they remain unbeaten in league competition with only Cromarty to play next week.<br /><br />In other action, Inver dropped three points at home to Alness Athletic, losing by 2 goals to 1 thanks to a second half penalty for the visitors, while Cromarty fought back late to secure a point at Grant Park against Tain Thistle.<br /><br />In other game of the evening, Vertex won the battle of Dingwall, as they recorded a 2-0 win over Ross-shire Club.
